I know that this is the third time I am publishing a milestone roadmap. Each iteration of the roadmap was better than the previous, but unfortunately, each one up to this point was not focused enough. So we have gone in and completely overhauled our milestones for the third time, which is what I am sharing with you here.

A couple notes about the roadmap. This time milestones are divided into actual programming tasks related to the creation of Codexed. Each task should be something recognizable and/or usable in the final version. The way the milestones are set up is to allow a quick progression through the roadmap. Each milestone ends with a public testing release. The features delineated through Milestone 3 are the features we have decided to include in Codexed 1.0, which will be the first "live" release version of Codexed; Milestone 4 contains features that will be part of the first major release after the first version of Codexed is done. Obviously, tasks may move, change or be added or deleted as development progresses.

Tasks are in no particular order. Tasks may be subject to date change, milestone change, or removal. Green text indicates completed stages and will only be updated at a per-stage (rather than per-task) level.

   Overview: Milestone One includes all the features that have been identified as core and are thus necessary for the most basic of journaling services.

It's going to be later than was previously thought -- probably September or October now, depending on how things go.

How accurate are these Milestones at this point?

Not really all that accurate anymore. It's just me working on the site now and priorities have changed (something that the survey will help focus).

Most of what was meant for "Milestone 3" has been done now anyways (comments being the big exception)
